Why Divine Catch?
Where Past and Present Meet
The Divine Catch was a sermon series Brad preached at The Goddard Church in the Spring of 2024, where he serves as Lead Pastor.
Corbin serves as Administrator for The Goddard Church and works closely with Brad in the development of the preaching series offered. As a graphic artist, Corbin creates theme graphics for each series preached. To the right you can see the full graphic Corbin created for The Divine Catch.
The series was born out of a study of Jesus' call to his disciples to become "fishers of men." In 2025, Brad and Corbin were inspired by this graphic to form their own publishing company dedicated to books and materials that inspire people to follow Jesus Christ.
That same artwork became our logo. The Divine Catch Press emblem of the fisherman and his boat was born from the design Corbin created for the sermon series, a reminder that every book we publish is part of the call to become fishers of men.
Our History
Divine Catch began in 2024 as a sermon series. In 2025 it grew into a publishing company, and in 2026 Divine Catch Press released its first books.
Brad's first two books were published in 2016 and 2017, by MSC Press, (The Merciful Servants of Christ) a devotional, discipleship order he founded in 2003.
In 2024, Brad began leading ministry along with his son, Corbin Riley, at The Goddard Church. Together they write books, blogs, and devotions. Their writings can be found on their websites, www.bradrileyministries.org, www.improvethemoment.com, and www.forwardfoundations.org.
